AITP - Maximize the performance of elevator groups

AITP is a neural network artificial intelligence solution developed exclusively by Schindler to radically improve the performance of groups of elevators in intensive traffic buildings.

AITP simulates the entire group of elevators in a virtual environment, learning and continuously upgrading its knowledge of all relevant building parameters.

AITP can predict and assess complete sequences of landing calls in a virtual environment. It then monitors the real-time performance of its elevators against the 'perfect' virtual model to increase its own predictive accuracy.

AITP uses the principle of 'perceived waiting time' to prioritize call allocations, treating each passenger as an individual in the system and concentrating on eliminating all very long waits. In this way it can reduce maximum waiting times by up to 50% and average waiting times by up to 35%, even compared with leading conventional microprocessor systems.
