The Reliable Moving Walk for Shopping Centres
Specially developed for shopping centers, Schindler 9500/10-15 moving walks provide quiet, comfortable transport from floor to floor, even with a fully loaded shopping cart. Schindler products never compromise on quality, so dependable performance and passenger confidence are assured. Streamlined and flexible in design, these units leave plenty of room for architectural expression, indoors or out.
Versatility on Demand
With a broad range of finishes, materials and colours for every visible component, the appearance of these moving walks can be customised to suit any architectural requirements:
Streamlined Construction
No moving walk on the market is more compact than Schindler 9500. With an inclination ranging from 10° to 12° and short installed lengths, these units are designed for integration into any given space, no matter how narrow. The Technology in Detail:
Small Installation Dimensions
Patented short pallets with a depth of only 133 mm greatly reduce the transition curves. As a result, these moving walks require minimal installation space.
Unrestricted Access for Shopping Carts
Shopping carts can be effortlessly rolled on and off the unit thanks to the flat combs with an inclination of only 10°.
Increased Safety
The slightly cambered pallet surface offers excellent grip even when damp or wet. The pallets are guided beneath the skirt, thereby maximizing user safety.
The short pallets are directly attached to the chain, eliminating the need for wearing parts such as connection elements and rollers. The absence of these moving parts means not only quieter operation but also a longer service life for the unit.
Exceptionally Economical
Unique Schindler solutions and the use of smart technology guarantee maximum operational cost-effectiveness and ease of maintenance. Highly efficient drive technology, with a choice of automatic operation or variable-speed drive, provides unbeatable energy savings. Efficient operation is guaranteed through:
Schindler 9500 is controlled by MICONIC F, a powerful dual-microprocessor controller with an interface to building monitoring systems.
This feature provides up to 30% savings in power consumption. MICONIC F switches the drive motor to ECO mode whenever it senses light loads.
Optional intermittent operation delivers additional energy savings by reducing running time.
International safety regulations for automatic operations require the installation of sensors that identify approaching passengers. Scan sensors or conventional guide bars are available options for Schindler 9500.
