New Zealand's 3G Network is shutting down
Upgrade your elevator’s emergency system to 4G and stay connected when it matters most.
What does this mean for your elevator?
According to Building Act 2004, Elevator Emergency Communications are an essential and vital component of your elevator system for compliance. This ensures that passengers in the unlikely event of an elevator breakdown have communications with our call centre, ensuring the most efficient response to the release of any passengers.
Its operation is dependent on the mobile network, and the upcoming closure of the 3G network may affect your equipment that currently rely on the 3G network for communication.
Upgrading to a 4G digital line ensures reliable, always-on communication—even during power outages. Unlike fibre or other phone systems that may fail without power, 4G offers consistent connectivity.
